Mercury UI Updates
The latest updates are intended to make it easier for users to find what they need. More information is available on the home screen, including room schedule, status, and availability. With a glance, users will know precisely how and when the room is being used.
Other updates include integration with AirMedia 2.0 for more straightforward wireless presentations, which simplifies presentations on your boardroom AV system. The software automatically detects the user's browser for instant wireless sharing.
The firmware comes pre-loaded onto all current Crestron Mercury products and is available as an automatic update on existing systems.
Mercury Includes Microsoft Teams Integration
Last month we wrote about Crestron Flex, the new line of Crestron products built to customize and simplify your boardroom AV system. One significant benefit of the new hardware is Microsoft Teams integration. But earlier this month, Crestron announced that Teams would feature as a software upgrade on their existing Mercury products as well.
Microsoft Teams is an all-in-one collaboration platform that includes chat, video calling, file storage, and application integration. It’s designed to simplify remote and onsite meetings with an intuitive interface and easy-to-use controls.
Users won’t need to purchase a new boardroom system to take advantage of the latest software update. Simply plug your computer in and instantly take advantage of the system.
